Bible Study, Book Study
We will all need support when we enter the tough times and the more difficult situations in our lives. It's important to have relationships built up BEFORE those hit to have someone to help you walk through those times with prayer and Godly insight. Hence the Body of Christ (the Church). However, it can be difficult to connect in large church services and sometimes even in small groups. The primary intent of this group is to cultivate those individual relationships as we learn about each other and grow in our walk with the Lord.
This fall cycle we are also going to be following a study entitled All My Friends Have Issues. It is a video and workbook study based on a book of the same name by author, Amanda Anderson. The study will help us examine ourselves and how we as women relate to others, especially in the context of a friendship. It can be lighthearted and humorous or possibly become deeper or painful as the Holy Spirit may bring to light some things that we may not recognize on our own. Either way, my prayer and hope in the Lord is that this helps us develop deeper and more meaningful relationships with each other and with our existing friends that is pleasing to the Lord. I encourage you to come explore your own vulnerabilities with us in a safe and loving space. If you're lonely, or you've been told you are a terrible friend, or you're perplexed by the pattern of unhealthy friendships in your past, this may be where God is calling you to be healed. Even if you are a GREAT friend and you have no struggles with loneliness or friendships, you should still come and meet with us as we pray together for each other, for the church, and for the people who tug on God's heart.
Come walk with us!
